"Mortal Kombat 11" features Ronda Rousey who voices the role of Sonya Blade in the game. Sonya is the first female boss in the franchise. For gamers, the new game comes out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One or Xbox One X in March/ April this year. NetherRealm released the first gameplay trailer and it looks to be every bit as bloody as the rest of the franchise, Gamespot noted.

Rhoda Rousey's said to be thrilled to have the opportunity to engage with the new game. According to Cagesideseats.com, she said, "I’ve been a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan, and Sonya Blade was the first kick-ass, female video game character that I related to." Ronda added that for her this is a "dream come true." For those who can't wait for the new Mortal Kobat game, they can pre-order the Beta version for March and the game proper comes in April.

Shao Kahn, an additional fighter, comes for those gamers who pre-order the title. The gamers get to see Sonya, voiced by Rhonda. It seems a marriage made in heaven for the UFC champion, Olympic medalist, and WWE superstar. The gameplay reveal came out of Los Angeles. Seven characters including Sonya Blade revealed for 'MK11'

So far, seven characters were revealed for the new "Mortal Kombat" game. These MK11 characters include Geras, a servant of Kronika that gamers never met before. Then there are the ones they have, which Baraka, Raiden, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Scarlet, and Scorpion. Gamers reacted to the trailers showing the various characters.

On YouTube, Morgan Le-Fay said it for gamers: "Skarlet is simply awesome! Such an epic return for an epic character!! I like that nun-ninja look they gave her."

More about the new 'Mortal Kombat' game

The game is apparently coming with two modes, one being the Adventure mode and the other is the normal Story mode used by NetherRealm studios in the past.

There will be the drop-in drop-out options online for the adventure mode. Of course, gamers can customise items and weapons, and these can be purchased or earned.
