Kamal Haasan, the Ulaganayagan of Indian cinema is now gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated release 'Vishwaroopam 2' on August 10, 2018.

The Film which is a sequel to 2013 blockbuster 'Vishwaroopam' is directed and penned by Kamal Haasan himself. The film was released in both Hindi and Tamil, and industry experts are predicting a mammoth opening for this action thriller.

Here are five reasons which make 'Vishwaroopam 2' a must-watch film.

Kamal Haasan back as the RAW agent

'Vishwaroopam' is widely considered as one of the best action movies of Kamal Haasan till date.

Considering the hype surrounding its sequel, Kamal Haasan has apparently tried to make it top-notch in all aspects. In this movie, Kamal will be once again seen playing the role of Vishwanathan alias Major Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri, a RAW agent who is determined to demolish terrorism from the planet.

The sequel will majorly focus on the journey of Vishwanathan to nab Omar Qureshi (Rahul Boss), the dreaded terrorist. The film will showcase the efforts of Vishwanathan to eliminate a terror plot manipulated by Qureshi and his gang of jihadis in New York City.

Kollywood's secret agent gearing up for the final cut

Action stories are not new in Kollywood, but the industry lacks a perfect secret agent series just like 'James Bond 007' in Hollywood.

As 'Vishwaroopam 2' is getting ready for release, industry experts believe that this movie will fill this vacant slot.

Shot in exotic foreign locales with a lavish budget, 'Vishwaroopam 2' is such a movie which has been made with Hollywood standards. The recently released trailer indicates that the film is just like any other Hollywood spy movies like the 'Bourne Series' in terms of cinematic language.

A tribute to Indian soldiers

'Vishwaroopam 2' is having its theatrical release on August 10, just five days before India's Independence Day. As the film is handling a patriotic theme, it will surely turn out to be a perfect tribute for Indian soldiers who have given their soul and breathe for the nation.

Ensemble star cast

Just like its prequel 'Vishwaroopam 2' is also loaded with an ensemble star cast.

Apart from Kamal Haasan and Rahul Bose, the film has Priya Anand and Andrea Jeremiah playing the roles of female leads.

The supporting star cast includes Shekhar Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Waheeda Rahman, Mir Sarwar, Deepak Jethi, and Anant Mahadevan. 'Vishwaroopam 2' also stars Russel Geoffrey Banks, a popular Hollywood star in another prominent role.

Ghibran's breathtaking background score

The major highlight of 'Vishwaroopam' was its spectacular background score composed by Ghibran. As the scores of the prequel became a chartbuster, Kamal Haasan roped in the young musician for 'Vishwaroopam 2'. Songs of the movie were released recently during the Bigg Boss Tamil season, and it received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike.
