These allegations surfaced between February and April of 2018. While the Metro Police have not officially released the name of the person under investigation, the BBC reports that the investigation does, indeed, relate to actor Spacey.

He later absolutely denied all the other assault allegations that emerged after Rapp’s statement.

Kevin Spacey and his career

The once highly popular Hollywood actor won two Oscars for his performances in the 1996 Film “The Usual Suspects” and for the 2000 movie “American Beauty.”

Spacey was also recast in the movie "All the Money in the World," a film about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III at the age of 16.

That plum role was given to 88-year-old Christopher Plummer and various scenes were recreated with the new leading man.

The film headed to cinemas in January this year. Despite all the controversy surrounding the Hollywood actor, NME reports that Spacey will be seen later this month in the film “Billionaire Boys Club,” which was filmed in 2016 and stars Emma Roberts, Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort and Suki Waterhouse, among others.
