A brand new Fendi campaign has recently been launched under the hashtag #MeandMyPeekaboo, and five-year-old North West has joined grandmother Kris Jenner and her mother, Kim Kardashian West. The young girl’s latest modelling job is related to the 10th anniversary of Italian designer Fendi’s Peekaboo bag.

One of the images released from her modelling campaign shows North West posing with the family against a backdrop of a swimming pool, up in the hills which overlook Los Angeles, each with their very own Fendi Peekaboo bag.

Three generations of the Jenner/Kardashian family

Yet another photo of the modelling event shows Jenner, Kardashian and North West standing posed next to the swimming pool up in the Los Angeles hills. Marcus Hyde, the photographer who took the images, took to Twitter to tweet a video of the modeling shoot, with a soundtrack of the music of North West’s famous father, Kanye West.

Fendi give a statement about the photo shoot

As reported by the Mirror Online, Fendi’s chief executive officer, Serge Brunschwig, spoke to Women’s Wear Daily, saying his company had chosen to collaborate with relevant, family-related persons.

He said they chose the more controversial family members and those who have a “courageous point of view” and a vision, along with more unexplored and unexpected family characters.

Kanye and Kim’s daughter North West is their eldest child and has a two-year-old brother, Saint and a six-month-old sister Chicago, who have not yet managed to hit the celebrity highlight.

North West destined to work in fashion

Dazed reports that the Kardashian and West’s eldest child has always been set to work in the fashion field. The five-year-old has been wearing the fashion designs of Givenchy and Vetements, as well as West’s Yeezy brand.

According to that report, North West’s first photo shoot happened at the age of 13 months.

The pair’s eldest also reportedly threw a tantrum while seated in the front row next to Anna Wintour at an Alexander Wang fashion show.

The youngster is following in the footsteps of her aunt, Kendall Jenner, who has starred in a number of Fendi’s ads. An image posted to North West's own Instagram account, @_north.west_, received a mixed reception, with some comments relating to child labour.

Fendi’s ad focusing on family

Besides North West, the #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign also features Silvia Venturini Fendi, the fashion company’s creative director, with daughters Leonetta Luciano and Delfina Delettrez Fendi.

Interestingly, Clara and Esther, the daughters of British actor Ewan McGregor also appeared in the campaign.

Speaking of the campaign, Silvia said they wish to expand the concept of family, as it is part of everyone’s history. Speaking of the Kardashians, she said all three women were very strong and had strong personalities.
