Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have never been the best of friends. However, rumours of the sisters-in-law not seeing eye to eye were doing the rounds for quite some time now. The Royal Family feud became evident on various public occasions when the princesses kept some distance from each other. This also widened the gap between their husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William.

The Duchesses share giggles at a party

A party at the Buckingham Palace proved to be an ice-breaker between the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex, according to a report in news.com.au.

The party was hosted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Prince Charle's investiture as the Prince of Wales, attended by the Royals, their close friends and the members of various charities that Charles has supported over past many years.

During the meet and greet of the Royal Family members, all eyes were rather set on the two sisters-in-law by the awkward looking guests. Call it a well-executed PR exercise or a simple sisterly gesture, the two Duchesses looked at each other and shared some smiles, surprising many onlookers. News AU reported, It was an "intimate moment, which appears totally warm and natural and suggests the duo is perfectly comfortable in each other’s company."

Pregnant Meghan Markle snubbed by Royal Family?

Meghan Markle who is eight months pregnant mostly kept to herself and was speaking to her husband, Harry at the Buckingham Palace party, which apparently made cracks within Royal Family visible.

A body language expert, Judi James spoke to the Mirror about the Royal Family. Judi said that it was quite evident that he "looked grim" and mostly spoke to his wife while the rest of the family took the centre stage.

Judi further said that wide smiles and giggly behaviour of both the Duchess of Sussex and Cambridge looked rather doubtful as if the Royal Family did not want to make the entire event about the 'famous feud', which would have stolen the limelight away from Prince Charles.

Prince Harry and William the reason for a feud?

Although the women in their lives have been the talk of the town over the feud in the Royal family, the real reason for the indifferent relationships within the Buckingham Palace may be because William confided to Harry that he didn't think Meghan was Royal Family material. Harry, obviously chose not to listen to William and married the former popular TV actress.

Since the marriage, Prince William and his wife seem to have been rather closer to the Queen and Charles than the younger brother and his wife, sparking off the rumours of the feud in the first place.
