Holidaymaker forced to return stones from Cornwall beach or face a huge fine

When a man removed a bag of pebbles from Crackington Haven beach in Cornwall to take home as a souvenir, the local council tracked him down, forcing him to drive hundreds of miles to return the pebbles or face a £1,000 fine. The Cornwall Council is concerned about the potential flood hazard caused by removing the stones.
