On 9 November 2016, Donald #trump has won the American #president election. This has been a shocking and unbelievable news to billions of people in the world, especially when he had shown his discrimination to women and to other ethnic minorities in the States, such as the Muslim. Seemingly, many people are dissatisfied with his act and speech, but why would he win the election?
The fact that Trump wins actually shows the dissatisfaction and frustration among the American to their current situation. Their emotions have already overrides their rational thinking. They believe Trump would bring a change to America that was the reason the voters vote for him.
In Trump's proposed immigration policy, he proposes to restore the immigration system by prioritising the American interest first. He said he would make the immigration policy stricter, in order to protect the culture and resources in the States. He believed that in such a cultural diversity environment, the American values and culture would be challenged. In order to solve the problem, a stricter immigration policy would be the only way out. This mindset of Trump can actually gain lots of support from the white people in the States. They may fear that by having more and more immigrants, their values and culture would be lost one day. In order to protect them, they got to believe in Trump and vote for him. Besides, by tightening the immigration policy, the competition among the white people of the States would decrease, they do not have to fight for their job or other resources intensely with the immigrants. They may feel more secure in this sense as their resources and rights have been protected.

Trumps plans for the future
Factories were moved to other developing countries such as China and replaced those in the States due to lower cost. More and more manufacturing factories have forced to close down in the States, resulting loss of manufacturing job in America for quite a number of years. This makes the American suffer from unemployment. For example, some of them may be the general manager of the factories but since the factories have now been moved to other countries they may suffer from the loss of jobs. This frustration have been hidden in their heart.
Thus, when Trump said to relocate all the manufacturing work back to the States, they may see the sign of hope that they can get their job back. These people would not think about the consequence that they may have to suffer from high inflation due to the high cost of the product. Instead, they would see the bright side of this policy as they are getting their job back. As a result, this is the second reason they are willing to give their vote to Trump.
Conservative mindset from some of the people. Since some people may not agree with the law of same-sex marriage in the States. But they believe that when Trump is elected this law may probably be cancel, thus they put their trust in Trump.
After the leadership of Obama for the past years, people may not feel the change in the States instead situations in the States have remain the same. This election result shows that a huge number of people are dissatisfied with their current situation and America should experience a change. In short, this election reflects the problem existed and the frustration in people, which may worsen the social cohesion in America.
After all, once Trump is elected, the world is probably going to experience a massive change which affect the life of you and me as he is probably going to change many policy and the way of American government doing things. So, please be prepared for that. #American Election
