The charming Vidya Balan is one of the finest actors of this generation. Her remarkable screen presence and traditional look has charmed millions who are looking forward to her next Film Hamari Adhuri Kahani by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. Vidya will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi, in the film.

Vidya walked into the set of Sony Entertainment Television's popular show Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar to play a small role. She interacted with the lead protagonist Pallavi Kulkarni who plays the character of Ragini Patel. Vidya and Pallavi shot a special sequence which will be aired soon.

According to the current track of the show, Ragini is seen extremely worried for her daughter Nishii (Rhea Sharma) facing some problems in conceiving a child. When Nishii comes to know that she can never be a mother, she tries to commit suicide by slitting her wrist. In order to make Vidya look a part of the show, the makers conceived of a sequence where Vidya as Vasudha (her character in Hamari Adhuri Kahani) will be seen comforting Ragini. They both share their experiences and talk about their incomplete love story, in the soap.

"I have seen the promos of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar and they are very intriguing. I love relationship based shows but unfortunately due to my schedule I don't get the time to follow them regularly," said Vidya.

"I had a great time shooting for the sequence as it's a very beautifully written scene," she added. Pallavi Kulkarni has been a fan of Vidya and was happy to shoot with her.

Vidya plays a lovelorn woman who meets her ex after a gap of several years. She has been actively promoting the film, which also stars Emraan and Rajkummar Rao.

Vidya will also appear in another popular show, Yeh Hai Mohabattein, where she will be part of a sequence featuring Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel. The episode featuring Vidya in the show Udaan with Spandan Chaturvedi will also be aired soon.

Vidya also anchored the crime show Savdhaan India, where she alerted the audience about the increasing crime rate.

Since the film is a mature love story, Vidya hopes that the audience will like it for its distinct taste.
