The Apple iPad Pro 2 is one of the most anticipated hardware from Apple to be unveiled at the upcoming Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2017), event. Although, there is no official confirmation from Apple, tech enthusiasts believe there is a 70% chance we will see the new tablet next month.

Plenty of speculations about the iPad Pro 2 has surfaced online, but some trusted experts also published their predictions regarding this. Via Macrumors, the Prominent KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared a WWDC 2017 highlights report, showing his expectations for the June event.

“Both the 9.7-inch iPad Pro model and the newly designed 10.5-inch model will have a similar form factor, however, the latter device will have a larger display by making the bezels thinner than the usual size," says Ming-Chi Kou. He added, “This new tablet design should upgrade the users’ experience and help gain traction in both corporate and commercial sectors. We also forecast the 10.5-inch iPad shipments of 5.0-6.0mn units in 2017F, accounting for 15% of total 2017F iPad shipments.”

Specs and Features

Of course, assuming that Apple will release the iPad Pro 2 during the WWDC 2017 event, as Ming-Chi Kou predicted, all its specs and internal features will not be revealed until the official introduction date.

However, we have some clues about this tablet’s specs from the experts’ speculations based on the current technology trend.

Here are the most rumoured specs and features we might see in the upcoming iPad Pro 2; A probably 10.5-inches or 10.9-inches size model with significantly thinner bezel, the iOS 11, which is Apple’s next version of their mobile OS, True Tone displays, Magnetic Apple Pencil, Lighting and Smart connectors, 4 clear speakers, 3 or 4 microphones, 12-megapixel iSight camera with True Tone Flash, and all of the useful buttons and ports including volume buttons, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a SIM card slot.

The new tablet is also expected to come with the A10X processor.

Price

It is hard to calculate and predict the potential price tag of every upcoming device. However, based on the cost of the machine's potential features, we may come up with the a closer approximated price. Like the CNET cited, the iPad Pro 2 could cost about US$300 to US$330 per unit.

The Worldwide Developer Conference 2017 is happening on June 5 to 9 in San Jose, California. Aside from the iPad Pro 2, gadgets like the new MacBook and new iMac are rumoured to unveil in this event.
