A number of High Profile players are set to be out of contract at the end of the season. Looking at the options that are available at the moment, there is a team that could be made up of potential free signings.

Goalkeepers

Tim Krul - Starting in goal for our fantasy team would be Krul. The 29-year-old is currently on the books of Brighton. Krul has had a varied career to date. Time is still on the goalkeeper's side and he would be a good signing for most teams.

Defenders

Glen Johnson - The former England right back is 33-years-old and seems to still have something to offer in the Premiership.

Robert Huth - Former German International is a commanding figure at center-back. Huth, 33 has had a history with injuries recently. If Huth can remain fit there should be a number of suitors vying for his signature.

Gareth McAuley - At 37-years-old, time should be against McAuley. The player has defied the critics and last season was one of the best seasons for the West Brom man. It seems that there might be at least one last season for the veteran center-back

Luke Shaw - Left-back Shaw is only 22-years of age but he appears to have had a falling out with Man Utd Manager Jose Mourinho. It seems that Shaw's time at Old Trafford is quickly coming to an end. Shaw has recently been linked to a number of clubs, both in the premiership and abroad.

Midfielders

Mesut Ozil - One of the highest profile players on the list, the 29-year old has yet to sign a new contract. Ozil has been attracting a lot of interest both from home and abroad. One of the stumbling blocks is the large wage that the player is likely to demand.

Ross Barkley - Barkley is a player with bags of potential and time on his side.

At 23-years-old the player will be hoping to get more playing time under his belt. A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the England international. Only time will tell where the promising player will end up and if he can fulfill his full potential

Emre Can - Can has been a regular for Liverpool this season. Juventus have been following the player over the past year.

If the German international doesn't sign a new contract at Anfield, it appears a move to Serie A may well be on the cards.

Attackers

Alexis Sanchez - The star of the team is undoubtedly the talented Chilean. Sanchez has refused to be drawn on questions about his future. It appears that his future lies away from Arsenal.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Zlatan recently signed a new one-year deal at Old Trafford, citing unfinished business at the club. The age-defying Swede has plenty left to offer and a move to MLS has been rumored in the past few months.

Aaron Lennon - Former England and Spurs winger, Lennon is out of contract at Everton at the end of the season. The player has struggled on and off the pitch recently.

He will be hoping to get his career back on track. A move might be needed to reignite Lennon's playing career.

Substitutes bench

The subs bench offers a strong mix of potential and experience. Some of the players in our team might sign new contracts or some may even choose to retire at the end of the current campaign.
