This is the fifth meeting between these Madrid teams in European cups.

Real Madrid have beaten Atlético Madrid in two of past two Champions League finals:

Real Madrid 4 - 1 Atlético (aet)

The 2013/2014 final was Atlético's first European competition finals since 1959, while Real Madrid was in chase for the much awaited 'La-Decima' trophy. Atlético took the lead from a Diego Godin's strike earlier in the game but Sergio Ramos left it late as he spoiled the party in the 93rd minute with a fantastic header to take the game to extra-time.

Atlético switched off after regular time as they conceded 3 extra-time goals scored by Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo to hand Real mMadrid a tenth European title.

Real Madrid 1- 1 Atlético (Real 5 - 3 Atlético [Pen])

Again the both team meet in the finals with much aggression coming from the Atlético team but once again Diego Simeone's men were denied the chance to lift the Champions League gong as they drew 1 - 1 in regular time and extra-time.

Monaco vs Juventus

An unlikely name to see when it comes to semi finals, right? Yes, Monaco scales through to the semi finals for the first time since 2004.

Monaco have an impressive home form this season winning six games out of seven in the Champions league.

Juventus on the other hand are not taking it as a 'cup of tea' this season as they have only conceded twice in 10 games this season in the champions league; even Barcelona could not get a goal against them. Just to remind you, Juventus eliminated Barcelona 3-0 (agg) in the quarter-final stages while Monaco thrashed Borrussia Dortmund 6-3 (agg) to advance.
