Pippa Middleton, 31, and James Middleton, 28, jumped into the spotlight when their sister, Kate, married Prince William. The two younger siblings of the Duchess of Cambridge take advantage of all the media and public interest to draw attention to solidarity causes. The two siblings took part yesterday morning, June 21, in a solidarity bike ride from London to Brighton, with the aim of collecting funds for the British Heart Foundation, of which Pippa is an ambassador. Dressed up, the relatives of Kate Middleton, showed up smiling and in a very good mood, alongside the other participants, to cycle for a very good cause.

"As a keen cyclist, I am thrilled to be involved in this milestone year of the London to Brighton Bike Ride", said Pippa about the event. "This event is testament to the fact that Cycling is such a great inclusive sport that everyone can enjoy and at the same time, through the money raised, it continues to help millions of people affected by heart disease", she adds. Surely, we can see how the siblings of the Duchess of Cambridge are very active in sports and also do not hesitate to do it together, when they can, and more if it is to help a good cause.

The solidarity ride between London and Brighton, which is now in its 40th edition, was launched by Robert Stredder in 1975 and has raised a total of 65 million pounds. On yesterday's race, 22.000 cyclists showed up for the event, according to British newspaper The Argus. This race was not a first time for James and Pippa. Just over a year ago, the two participated in a trip in the United States - Race Across America - with a team of eight cyclists, that also aimed to help the British Heart Foundation. During 8 days, the two brothers cycled 3000 miles, through 12 different American states, according to People magazine.

The two siblings didn't count with the presence of Kate Middleton at the event. The Duchess had yesterday a very special day with her family. Besides being William's 33rd anniversary, it was also Father's Day, the first after Princess Charlotte's birth.
