According to reports in France and United Kingdom, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to join a Premier League team this summer, as Paris Saint Germain are open to talks over the Swedish super star. Liverpool FC remain favourites in this race, but Arsenal are also on alert and they are ready to make a bid for the striker.

Ibrahimovic to Liverpool?

According to Metro, Ibrahimovic told his friends that he is desperate to quit PSG this transfer window and Liverpool is a very possible destination for him. The reports in UK put the cormorans in pole-position for Ibra's signature.

They have already made two acquisitions, bringing in James Milner and Danny Ings, both of them being free of charge on July 1st.

Kovacic is also a clear target for The Reds and with that they seem to solve the midfield problems. They still have important concerns in the defence, but especially in the attack, with Raheem Sterling likely to leave the club in the near future, while Daniel Sturridge, their only world class striker, is still injured and he is going to miss the first part of next campaign. More than that, Balotelli is not the right man for Liverpool's attack, scoring only a goal in Premier League last season. Borini is on his way to Serie A, while Lambert is just a back-up.

Ibrahimovic to Arsenal?

The Gunners are also being linked with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as the striker ''has had enough in Paris''.

The rumors appeared these days in Tuttomercatoweb and the 33-years-old seems to be unhappy with life in the French capital and he wants to leave this summer. According to reports, Ibra would like a move back to his former club, AC Milan, but this is just a rumor. A number of Premier League clubs are interested and Arsenal seem to be one of them.

Ibrahimovic would be available for just £11 million, with only a year remaining on his contract with Paris Saint Germain. Arsene Wenger is desperated to add one more striker to his squad, a world class one, to provide some competition for Giroud. He is also an admirer of Ibrahimovic, considering that the french coach wanted him 15 years ago.

The striker turned down that chance because Wenger offered him just a trial to see how good Zlatan is. Speaking in 2012 about this event, Ibra said: ''I couldn't believe it. No way, Zlatan doesn't do auditions''.

We will see in the near future if Zlatan leaves PSG, but there is interest in him without a doubt. PSG have only to make it official that they want to sell the Swedish striker and after that the offers will surely come.
