As the Premier League transfer window enters its final few weeks lets take a look which teams are planing to make a splash.

Hernandez out Vidal in?

The most protracted transfer saga of this transfer window has taken another twist as Javier Hernandez's agent has sensationally claimed that his client will leave Old Trafford with Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal heading in the other direction in a blockbuster player exchange deal.

A move to Serie A champions Juventus would keep the Mexican Hernandez playing European Football although he would likely still be backup player rather than a starter.

In the end for all his undoubted talent it is easy to see why Manchester United would be willing to let Hernandez go. New boss Louis Van Gaal has already spoken about his squad being "unbalanced" and the Red Devils are already well stocked upfront

German and Chelsea star off to La Liga

After selling Diego Costa to Chelsea and failing to snare Romelu Lukaku reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have money to spend and need for a frontline striker. It looks like the guy they are targeting are is German World Cup winner and Chelsea striker Andre Schurrle.

The biggest stumbling block however, might be Chelsea's desire to sell non-European players in order to meet Premier League squad requirements.

Hull City star heading down south

Striker Shane Long has only been at Hull City since January when he signed a three and a half year deal. It looks like he might not be a Tiger for long though after cash rich/player poor Southampton had a £12 million pound bid for the Republic of Ireland international accepted.

Hull to replace Long with Manchester United Star

With the impending departure of Shane Long Hull City are going to need another hardworking striker to feed the ball to poacher Nikica Jelavic.

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck might just be the man who fits this bill. Hull City manager Steve Bruce took Welbeck on loan when he was Sunderland manager in the 2010-11 season and is known to be a fan. This rumour could have legs.

Liverpool to sign Italian Ace

Liverpool still need a striker as it looks like ex-Manchester United goalscorer Giuseppe Rossi could be the man for Rodgers.

Rossi has a impressive goalscoring record finding the net regularly both in Spain for Villarreal and Fiorentina. Unfortunately, Rossi also has a habit of getting injured so a deal to sign Rossi is a bit of a boom or bust proposition.
