The news of Will & Grace's return doesn't come as a total surprise: last summer NBC aired a short episode on Youtube about the upcoming elections. The huge fandom went crazy about it and there was an incredible amount of buzz. Now it's official: the show will be back.

Karen, Jack, Will and Grace will be back for a new season that will consist of 10 episodes. We will have the occasion to catch up with our beloved group of friends. All the four Emmy-winners actors joined the project and it will air during the 2017/2018 TV Season.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally along with Series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan and the TV icon James Burrows, who directed every episode of the sitcom during the first run have decided to return to star and work on this unique, powerful and critically acclaimed sit-com. Will and Grace aired between September,1998 and May, 2006.

The cast reacts

The cast reacted to the announcement: Debra Messing was thrilled and excited for the amazing response. She thanked all her followers for trending the #Will&Grace and wrote that she was so happy to announce this. Mutchnick was also excited when he spoke to the press and said that they are all thrilled to bring back these characters ten years later.

Sean Haynes asked to his co-stars if he can carpool with them. Everybody are celebrating. NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke confirmed that the reunion had the key role for the return: all the 4 stars were excited to get back.
