'I`d Do Anything' to 'A Little Night Music' - Jessica Buckley first came on our screens in 2008 when she entered a competition set up by Andrew Lloyd Webber to find the next Nancy. A fresh-faced nineteen-year-old she had little experience, However, her talent stood out as she made it all the way to the finale of the Tv competition. She was offered a chance to understudy as Nancy but turned it down to play Anne Egermman in Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music." Jessie then went on to training at RADA (The Royal of Dramatic Art) and graduated in 2013.

She appeared in the summer season at the Shakespeare theater she played Miranda in "The Tempest." In the Autumn of the same year, she starred opposite Jude Law in a west end production of Henry V at the Noel Coward Theatre. She then went on to play Perdita in a production of "A Winters Tale" that also starred Kenneth Branagh and JudiDench. This is the project that brought her to the attention of television producers.

Graduating to Television

Jessie who had been gaining credits in the theatre world was about to get her first taste of television in a big way. In 2016 the BBC commissioned a new dramatization of Leo Tolstoy`s book "War and Peace." This new drama was filmed in Latvia, Lithuania and Russia and the Tsar Ball was filmed in the famous Catherine Palace outside of Pittsburgh.

The spectacular drama boasts a star-studded cast including Lily James, Paul Dano and James Norton. Jessie played the part of Marya Bonskonskaya Andre`s sister (played by James Norton) the critics loved her performance. Jessie was beginning to carve out a career in television. Now she is starring in another BBC drama along with TomHardy and Oona Chaplin this series is a gritty drama about a half-madman who comes back to shores on hearing of his father's death.

We first meet Jessie`s character Lorna Bell in the second episode when she announces at the will reading that she is Horace`s widow. Which causes problems for James they begin to share James`s house much to the dismay of his servant. Things take a bad turn for Lorna when she stabs a duke who is harassing her.
