Cool Star Ganesh's new Kannada movie "Sundaranga Jaana" was released on December 23, 2016.

The film reached the screens all around Karnataka after the success of Ganesh's "Mungaru Male 2", and as a result, most of the theaters in Karnataka are witnessing huge rush for early morning shows. Shanvi Srivastava is the female lead in this film, while the supporting star cast includes, Devaraj, Ravishankar Gowda, and Rangayana Raghu.

"Sundaranga Jaana" is the remake of Telugu blockbuster "Bhale Bhale Madigovy" which had Nani in the lead role.

Cool Star provides more grace than Nani

The spinal cord of "Sundaranga Jaana" is the stellar performance from Cool Star Ganesh. The actor has excelled the role of an absent-minded botanist who has a rare mental condition. He has the habit of getting easily distracted while doing anything, and it creates problems in both his personal and professional lives.

As an actor, Ganesh has performed much better than Nani who did the role in the film's original. It was a sheer treat to watch Ganesh in comedy scenes, and some of his mannerisms will make you laugh loudly. Shanvi Srivastava looked cute, and her chemistry with Ganesh was excellent.

Ramesh Aravind's hilarious narration

Veteran filmmaker Ramesh Aravind is known for crafting films like a river which flows to the audience's heart.

When it comes to "Sundaranga Jaana", the director repeated the same magic and has delivered a real gem of a film.

He has balanced commercialism with class elements, and this is the major USP of this flick.

Melodious music by Ajaneesh Loknath added up the overall feel of the movie.

Box-office predictions

Ganesh has a huge fan following all around Karnataka, and he is considered to be one of the bankable stars in Sandalwood. This will surely reflect in the collection of "Sundaranga Jaana," and as per speculations, this movie will collect more than Rs 6 Crores in the opening weekend.

Two other Kannada movies, Kasaravalli's "Niruthara" and K Manjunath's "Nanu Mathu Varalakshmi" were released today. These two movies also are good enough but they may not generate the kind of revenue the Ganesh film is expected to. Big Hindi movie "Dangal" starring Aamir Khan too was released today.
