Known also as Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange, Dr. Strange is a fictional character in the comic books published by #Marvel. A #superhero created by Steve Ditko and made which made its first appearance in 1963.

The Story of a Strange hero

Dr. Strange is a former neurosurgeon, he protects our planet against magical and mystical threats. A car accident destroys his hands so he is not able to perform surgery. In his search for a cure he encounters the Ancient One. He masters martial arts and he starts practicing mystical arts as well. He’s seen with two mystical objects, the cloak and the eye of Agamotto, drawing his powers for those entities. He’s described as "the mightiest magician in the cosmos.

He appeared as a cameo in "Spider-Man and His amazing Friends," "Spider-Man The Animated Series," "X-Men The Animated Series," "Ultimate Spider-Man" and many more.

His impressive story, his abilities and the eager to protect the planet, over the years fans showed their love to this character. In 1978 Peter Hooten played Dr. Strange in the movie with the same name. Now, in 2016, we have #Benedict Cumberbatch. We saw him as a veritable Sherlock Holmes, he made us shed some tears in The Imitation Game and who could ever forget that he voiced Smaug in "The Hobbit" series? Benedict is a great actor and Marvel made a great choice by casting him.

The Movie

The director Scott Derrickson and producer Kevin Feige, alongside Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios, will give us on November 4, the so expected movie- Doctor Strange. This will be the fourteen film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (they grow so fast). The set was first in Nepal, back in November 2015, moving then to the United Kingdom and concluded in New York in late April 2016.

The cast is more than impressive. Like it wasn’t enough that Sherlock Holmes is the main lead, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch we have Tilda Swinton ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"), Rachel McAdam s("The Notebook"), Chiwetel Ejiofor ("12 Years of Slavery") and Mads Mikkelsen ("Hannibal"). Watch the newest trailer added by Marvel Entertainment a few days ago and tell us in the comments what you think.
