Not all the TV shows are starting this month. There are a lot of TV Series that will come back later in the season. Mostly The CW has adopted this policy of postponing the canonical premiere week. Supergirl leads a new night with Jane The Virgin

As I have already written, Supergirl will return not on CBS, but on the CW. The show has inherited the former Crazy Ex-Girlfriend slot and will start the DC's comic themed week.

Last year both Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane struggled onMondays. The network is likely trying to revamp the night and make the Supergirl's move successful. The Melissa Benoist's show will return on October 10th, at 8 p.m. Jane the Virgin will return with its season 3 on October 17th, at 9 p.m. as usual. Will Michael survive? The Flash, Arrow and DC'sLegends of Tomorrow lead the rest of the week.

The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will return in the same time-slot. The Flash season 3 will begin on October 4th, at 8 p.m and Barry will have to face a powerful new enemy: Reverse Flash. The trailer looks thrilling, have a look at The Flash season 3 trailer:

Arrow will lead wednesday night at 8, and it will return on October, the 5th.The show seems to follow a darker and tenser path.

Last year's CW's midseason success was DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The show inherited the original The Vampire Diaries' slot and with a revamped cast will start Thursday nights on October 13th, followed by the veteran Supernatural that will return with its 12th season on the same day.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Vampire Diaries drive a female-driven friday

The critical acclaimed and Golden Globe winner Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will move to fridays starting from October 21th, and it will follow the eighth and final season of The Vampire Diaries. The cult show will end its run with the last sixteen episodes. The show changed The CW history and was an incredible hit, but after 8 years the cast wants to move on.

2 Broke Girls will return in October as well as Chicago Fire, Elementary and many others

CBS comedies will have a late return: 2 Broke Girls will return on monday October 10th, at 9, Mom will come backon thursdayOctober 27th, Matthew Perry's The Odd Couple will make its comeback on October 17 at 9.30 p,m. The Odd Couple's second season had a positive run. Apparently, CBS didn't believe too much in this product's last year, but itwas happily surprised. On the same network will come back also Scorpion on monday October 3 at 9 p.m. with its third season. CBS will air also Madame Secretary third season , Elementary fifth season on sunday October, 2nd and last year most successful comedy Life in piecies on October 27th.

Some of ABC's comedies will return in October as well: Fresh Off Boat will start on October 11th, along withTheReal O' Neals and The Middle. So many comedies and dramas will make their return on broadcast TV. Will they survive?
