Weddings are such a big thing for couples who are in love, but what about celebrity weddings? Celebrities obviously must find it hard to go about their daily business without being snapped almost everywhere, even if they don't want to be snapped by the paparazzi! Despite what the celebrity actually wants the paparazzi are completely ruthless and won't stop at anything to get ongoing snaps of every celebrity pretty much under the sun. So what if a couple in the public eye was to get engaged? Well the paparazzi would search everywhere for gossip on the wedding, find out where it was taking place and then turn up to get pictures!
Most everyday people would hate this, so don't you think that celebrities would also hate this? At the end of the day, they are still real people under it all!
Thinking about celebrity weddings, when Cheryl first got married to Ashley Cole there were millions of paparazzi pictures everywhere to be seen. This must be completely horrible having people with cameras following you everywhere on a regular basis! Then think about the constant publicity surrounding Zayn from One Direction and Perrie who are now engaged. So if it was your wedding, would you want the paparazzi surrounding your ever move? With that in thought, many people would guess that would be why Cheryl married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in secret and only told her fans and friends about the wedding a week after happening!
This is probably the result of so much pressure from paparazzi, after all, a couple getting married don't exactly want a large amount of publicity from the press! Yes, they probably want a photographer to take some photos for memories, but no they don't want to be surrounded by paparazzi on their special day. Paparazzi need to learn that celebrities don't want every aspect of their life public!
If it was your wedding I wouldn't think that you would want millions of paparazzi pictures, you would rather get your own pictures, instead of some pictures slung alongside some made up story that couldn't be further from the truth! Don't believe everything you read in the papers, most the time it is the most pretentious made up thing you will ever read!
People shouldn't just come out with "I read it in the papers, so it's not my fault I got it wrong" Instead actually check your facts cause more often than not the papers turn into "gossip" columns when they are actually supposed to be a newspaper. The idea of a newspaper would be to focus on world news, or local news, instead of some story about a popular celebrity that is made up from nothing. It is a certainty that if the paparazzi turned up to every wedding in the country, then that is one thing destined to ruin your big day!
Of course this is all so much more difficult for celebrities since they are pretty much followed everywhere. So if it takes a secret wedding to avoid the paparazzi then so be it.
At the end of the day, you would much rather have your close friends and family at your wedding, than a bunch of people you have never met taking millions of photos all over the place! In most situations, there isn't normally a thought given to the privacy of a celebrity but at the end of the day, deep down they are just normal people like everyone else. It would surprise you how genuine some celebrities actually are. So they deserve privacy just as much as you or your next door neighbour does. Cut them some slack, they are only human and at the end of the day they also need their own space!
