Dangal collection at the worldwide box office: - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's wrestling drama 'Dangal' hit the China screens last Friday. The film is faring extremely well at the Chinese markets. As of 5:30 PM CST, Dangal grossed $21.2 million in the Chinese markets and became the first Indian movie to surpass $20 Million mark at the Chinese box office.

Previously Aamir Khan's PK used to hold the Highest grossing Indian movie in China with Rs 128 crores, but now, Dangal surpassed PK collection by minting Rs 137 crores till now to emerge as new Highest grossing Indian film at the China markets.

Dangal entered Rs 900-crore club at worldwide box office

In the first phase of worldwide release, 'Dangal' minted Rs 387.5 crores nett from the Indian box office with a gross amount of Rs 542.5 crores. On the other hand, the film grossed Rs 201.5 crores from the overseas box office, taking the total worldwide collection of 'Dangal' in the first phase to Rs 744 crores.

In the second phase, the movie released in Taiwan last month and raked Rs 20 crores approximately, where it minted Rs 11.5 crores alone from Taiwan capital city Taipei.

In the Chinese markets, the film grossed Rs 137 crores till date, which released on May 5th in the country.

Overall, Aamir Khan - Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal' grossed Rs 901 crores at the worldwide box office till date and thus emerged as second Indian movie to enter Rs 900 crore mark after S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'.
