On second Tuesday at the box office, Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' fared extremely well by raking $4.64 million gross from the China markets, taking the total collection to $70.04 million in its 12 days run.
Even though the film minted only $27.20 million in its 1st-week run, the movie picked up extremely well from the second week, where it minted $42.74 million in its 5 days run. It even dominated the Hollywood release 'Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2' from the second week to take Top 1 spot at the Chinese box office as James Gunn's directional project minted only $18.48 million in its second-week run till now.
By the end of its 12 days run, 'Dangal' grossed Rs 449.02 crores and heading towards Rs 500-crore club in the China soon.
Total worldwide collection of Dangal till date
In the first phase of its release on December 23rd, 2016, the film minted Rs 387.5 crores nett in its lifetime run with a gross amount of Rs 542.5 crores approximately and Rs 201.5 crores from the overseas box office, taking the total collection to Rs 744 crores.
On March 24th, Dangal released in Taiwan markets, where it minted Rs 21 crores approximately till date at the ticket window.
In the Taipei alone, Capital city of Taiwan, Aamir Khan's movie grossed $1.90 million (Rs 12.16 crores) till date.
While the movie released in China on May 5th and it grossed Rs 449.02 crores till date.
