The movie collected Rs 63.50 crores gross from the Tamilnadu in its 50 days run. Even though the movie performed well at the ticket window in the 1st week, it failed to maintain consistency at the box office from second week and hence it remained as moderate one at the ticket window in Tamilnadu.
'Bairavaa' overseas and rest of the areas collection
The film collected Rs 30.45 crores from the International markets in its total run. In Kerela, the film collected Rs 10.15 crores and the Karnataka collections are close to Rs 5.5 crores. The rest of the India collection will be close to Rs 1.75 crores gross.

The total worldwide collections of the movie grossed Rs 111.35 crores and the share amount is close to Rs 58 to 59 crores.
This is the 4th film of the lead actor which grossed Rs 100 crores worldwide after 'Theri', 'Kaththi' and 'Thupakki'. However, it was a disappointing one for the distributors as the movie was estimated to see 20 to 30% losses for them in most of the areas.
Nonetheless, Vijay is gearing up for his 61st film which is yet-to-be-titled and Atlee is helming the project who worked with the actor in 'Theri' movie.
As 'Theri' remained as one of the biggest hit in Vijay's career, the expectations are huge on his 61st movie where three actresses are playing the female lead role. Currently, the shooting is in progress and the movie was expected to release in second half of the 2017.
