The film did the pre-release business of Rs 18 crores worldwide. The Tamilnadu rights were sold for Rs 13 crores, the USA for 45 lakhs, Kerela for 45 lakhs and Karnataka for 75 lakhs.The remaining other rights fetched Rs 3.35 crores for the movie.
