The Telugu film ''Shatamanam Bhavati" was released on January 14, 2017, in India. Satish Vegesna directs this Sharwanand starrer, and it has Anupama Parameshwaran as the lady lead.

Prakash Raj and Jayasudha have played other crucial roles. Lauded to be a breezy family entertainer, the film is now showing all the signs of emerging as a sleeper hit even in the midst of competition posed by big films like "Khaidi No 150" and "Gautamiputra Satakarni".

A heart touching story

In the initial minutes of the movie, we can see two elderly couples living together in the Eastern Godawari.

They have two sons and a daughter and are now settled abroad.

Feeling a state of isolation, the couple decide to call their kids for a family reunion. Will the sons and daughter realise the love of their parents? The answer to this question forms the remaining part of the movie.

Prakash Raj at his best

As we all know, Prakash Raj is an excellent performer, and his acting is the spinal cord of this film. The actor enacted emotional scenes with perfection, and he was given adequate support by Jayasudha who plays the role of his wife.

Sharwanand who performs the character of a typical village guy has done full justice to the role.

Anupama Parameshwaran, in the role of an NRI beauty, was just okay, and in some scenes, she went little over the board.
