The movie deals with the story of farmers who suffer from lack of water to yield their crops and their struggles.

Chiranjeevi is seen in the dual role as Kaththi Seenu and Shankar in the film and he nailed with his performance in both the roles. Ali is seen as Chiru's friend and he did a superb job with his role. Kajal Aggarwal is good as Subba Laxmi. Devi Sri Prasad's music in the songs and Background score is decent. The cinematography by Rathnavelu looks rich. The director V V Vinayak did a good job by mixing all necessary ingredients which audience expect from a Chiranjeevi's movie.

Overall, the film is a feast for the Megastar's fans and they can feel that golden days of Chiranjeevi are back. For the normal audience, the film is a good watch in this Sankranthi festival season which entertains with all commercial elements.
