The movie emerged as career's biggest hit for Balakrishna. "Gautamiputra Satakarni" 8 days collections at the box office is Rs 42.7 crores share which is All-Time best collections among the lead actor's films. His "Legend" movie minted Rs 40.6 crores earlier which is his previous best-collected movie but "Gautamiputra Satakarni" surpassed Legend's full run collections within 1st week itself.
Thus the landmark 100th project of Balakrishna put a smile on his face by emerging as All-Time biggest hit among his films.

The film was sold for Rs 37.2 crores in Two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the worldwide pre-release business is Rs 47 crores. It collected Rs 42.7 crores at the box office until now, So it still needs to recover Rs 4.3 crores share to reach the break-even amount.
As there are no big Telugu movie releases in this week, "Gautamiputra Satakarni" can perform in the 2nd week as well at the box office. On the other hand, the team of "Gautamiputra Satakarni" visited the USA to Thank the audience for making the film a huge hit at the USA box office where it minted $1.5 million and entered into profits for its Distributors.
The USA tour will be from Jan. 19th to Jan. 22nd in Bay Area, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia and New Jersey. The weekend tour in the USA will definitely help the movie to enter $2 million mark easily at the box office.
Balakrishna's 'Aditya 999' with his son
During the recent media interaction, Balakrishna revealed that he will do "Aditya 999" along with his son mokshagna soon and the script for this movie was also locked.
Speaking about his son's debut, he said that Mokshagna will be launched by the end of the year 2017 and right now the upcoming actor is taking extensive training in different art-forms which will be useful in his career.
