The last few weeks have been tragic for “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” fans with Hina Khan exiting the show. Her exit resulted in the character she plays on the show i.e. Akshara Singhania’s death in a typical road accident. But we have to keep in mind that absolutely anything is possible on Indian Television. The makers "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" obviously had two choices, one was to kill off Akshara’s character completely as her fans would not accept the character with a new face or to replace the actor with a new actor and give a new twist to the character itself.
The initial reports and the turn of events which included Akshara’s car accident pointed towards the fact that she is dead pointed towards the fact that the makers have chosen the first route of doing away with the character. But now it seems the makers have a bigger twist in their mind.
Akshara to return with a new face
According to online reports, the creative minds behind the show are planning to bring Akshara back to the show. Now hold your guns, no it doesn’t mean Hina Khan will return to the show. It means that Akshara might return from the dead with a new face just like the character of Tulsi did in Ekta Kapoor’s “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” post Smriti Irani’s exit from the show. As per reports the makers have already began auditions for searching the face who will play Akshara on the show.
In near future, the fans will get to see the new Akshara come back to Singhania house which will also result in Kartik’s bail since he is being arrested for her death.
Kartik and Naira to finally get married
Akshara’s return will also pave way for Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira’s (Shivangi Joshi) reunion and they will finally get married in Udaipur in presence of both Singhania and Maheshwari family.
We will have to wait and watch how the fans react to a completely new Akshara, a lot will also depend on actually who is cast as the new Akshara. “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” airs on Star Plus Monday to Saturday 9.30 pm IST.
