After months of waiting, Kannada movie "John Jani Janardhan" was released on December 09, 2016 all over the world. The film is the remake of the Malayalam hit "Amar Akbar Anthony" which had Prithviraj, Inderjit Sukumaran and Jayasurya in the lead roles. Guru Deshpande directs this remake film, and it has Ajay Rao, Yogesh and Krishna in title roles.

According to initial reports, the director has crafted the film well, but it does not match the quality of its original. Still, the film can be considered a beautiful entertainer, and it will surely satisfy commercial movie lovers who are fond of colourful entertainers.

A story with social relevance

The film's major highlight is its socially relevant content. The movie showcases the story of three young men who lead a carefree life. The first half of the film proceeds with some genuine comedy, and things take a new turn when a small girl around their vicinity goes missing.

Soon, the kid's dead body is recovered, and it leads to a shocking revelation regarding the murder. Being a thriller, it is not at all recommended to reveal more details regarding the storyline, as it will act as spoilers.

Excellent performances from lead stars

The movie revolves around the characters played by Yogesh, Ajay Rao and Krishna. All the three stars have done full justice to their roles, and it will surely tickle the funny bones of the audiences.

Kamna Ranawat and Malashri too have done their roles well.

Arjun Janya's songs were soulful, and the background score was engaging. Altogether, this Guru Deshpande directorial is a movie which has its heart at the right place, and it will not disappoint the viewers in any manner.

Expected box-office collection

The film will undoubtedly fare well at the box-office, and as per trade experts, it will collect more than Rs 3 Crores by the end of this weekend. If family audiences also accept the movie, then it will enjoy a 50+ day run in Karnataka.
