Miley has been a very vocal supporter of the Democratic candidate, so the singer has been left devastated following the results of the American Election.

Miley's reaction to Trump win

Posted in a video on Facebook, Miley shared her feelings about Donald Trump becoming the United States' 45th President. She was so distraught, failing to keep her composure through the two-minute video.

See the video below.

In the post, the 23-year-old, who had appeared at Clinton rally during the campaign urging students to vote for Hilary Clinton, remarked that she didn't want to say she had been very vocal for her support for everyone besides Donald Trump.

Even though she heavily supported Hillary, someone who Miley thinks will eventually be the President of the United States.

"That's what makes me so sad," said Miley. "I just wish that she had that opportunity, because she fought for so long and because I believe her when she says that she loves this country. This is all she's ever done. She's given her life to make it better."

Miley did admit defeat, like many other Americans this week, and said that she will do her best to respect Trump and hopes he respects those who don't agree with him.

Ironically, the singer compared the situation to one of Trump's speeches where he told people that they "can't always get what [they] want". Branding herself a hippy, Miley said that she will accept Donald Trump as that is the way of hippies.

"And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as the President of the United States, and that's fine, that's fine because I think now I want to be a hopeful hippy, but please just treat people with love and treat people compassion and treat people with respect and I will do the same for you."

Cyrus did express an interest in some constructive dialogue with Trump; she asks him that if he wants to understand some people who don't think the same way as the Republican Party leader, then he should open his mind - and heart - and that she is someone he can speak to. She then signed off her video by thanking Hilary Clinton for being an "inspiration for us all".
