Law enforcement and paramedics in Los Angeles are reporting that they responded to a call from friends of Kanye West, who were worried about his welfare. At first, they did not find him at his home, but later decided it would be better to hospitalize him for psychiatric evaluation.

According to a report by TMZ, the singer and fashion designer refused to check in voluntarily to a hospital and, the health and police responders handcuffed the distraught celebrity, in order to transport him to UCLA medical facilities for further evaluation.
Kanye West has reportedly been acting strangely in the last few days, cancelling the remaining of his tour and giving bizarre speeches. He spoke about politics and the music industry, citing dissatisfaction and exhaustion as the motive behind the cancellation of his Saint Pable tour.

Unidentified sources close to the star says he is suffering from sleeping deprivation. The celebrity is notoriously known for being a workaholic and is very dedicated to his career. He was lately criticized and booed for declaring his support for president-elect Donald Trump.
