As expected her fans are already missing her and we don’t blame them, the actress was playing the protagonist Akshara for 8 long years and had become synonym with the character.

Yes you read it right. Before she became a household name with Akshara Singhania’s character, Hina Khan had actually come to Mumbai with the dream of becoming a journalist.
When that did not happen she even tried her luck at becoming a Air-Hostess but she couldn’t attempt the exam as she was hit by Malaria. Next she went in to an audition with a friend just for the sake of it and to her very shock she was selected. Her destiny then took her towards acting and rest as we all know is history.

Not many know that Hina is extremely protective about her particular Taaviz and she carries it everywhere in her wallet. Taaviz usually is considered as a good luck charm, no doubt she ruled the Television scene for a long whole 8 years with “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”.

While Hina has many television awards over the years, she has also won the most prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award which is considered one of the most coveted awards in India.
