Since Avika has left the popular Indian drama TV show Sasural Simar Ka the show has experienced a bit of fall down in the ratings. Everyone from the producers to the loyal audience was in dilemma of what will now happen to Roli’s character in the show. Think no more as the makers of the show have finally zeroed down on Mansi Srivastava as a replacement to Avika Gor who recently left the show.
Mansi is reported to begin shooting for the show from next month and soon the viewers will see a new avatar of Roli which they have been waiting for forever now.
Mansi currently is seen playing the character of Indian goddess Parvati on Zee TV’s Neeli Chhatri Wale. Mansi is also famous for playing Alok Nath’s daughter in the hit Indian TV show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Si.
Avika left the Sasural Simar Kasince she wanted a break post working endlessly for the last 10 years. It is an understood decision on her part as she was first seen as a child actor in Colors channel show Balika vadhu which resulted into making her a star overnight. She has not signed any new TV show or movie after quitting Sasural Simar Ka as yet. Avika was just 8 years old when she started acting in her first show Balika Vadhu. She has now looked upon as an inspiration by many child artists on the Indian Television arena as she has successfully created a niche for herself over the years.
Post Balika Vadhu she joined the Sasural Simar Ka clan as Daughter-in-law and here too she was showered with immense love for her portrayal of Roli. May be the stress and the insane working schedule which exists on Indian Television daily soap shoots got to Avika after all.
Avika and Manish’s chemistry on the show had become the talk of the town and was enjoying immense fandom.
So it will be interesting to wait and watch if the diehard fans and the loyal viewers of the show accept this change in casting or not. For now it’s wishing Avika Gor all the best for her endeavors and also a best of luck to Mansi Srivastava, hope she pulls it off.
