Hollywood actor George Clooney believes that it is solely the responsibility of society to elect politicians with an ability to brighten the future and better life for the people. Society should be part of the change it wants to see in its surroundings. The responsibility of the politician is to bring in changes while it is up to the voters to elect right candidate, stressed Clooney.

His talks on politics again fuelled the rumour that the actor plans to take up politics in the near future. The rumours also suggested that Mr Clooney will be actively involved in political issues during the upcoming US elections.

But the actor has denied all the rumours and has negated any intention of joining politics. He confirmed to ITV in an interview he was "not getting into politics."

Clooney fans looked disappointed just as the actor was, minus his stunning wife Amal Clooney, a human right lawyer. He came for the premiere and mingled with the cheering crowd at Leicester Square on Sunday, where the Film Tomorrowland: A World Beyond was shown.

The 54-year-old actor was joined on the red carpet by Hugh Laurie, famous for his titular role in TV show House, who plays the villain in the Disney movie. The film directed by Brad Bird also stars Britt Robertson and Raffey Cassidy.

Clooney pointed at the system which works in collaboration.

Politicians, he said were elected by people and thus to make things better the society has to be collective. That way, said Clooney, the society can move forward.

The Descendants star plays a former boy genius in the upcoming sci-fi film and claims to have enjoyed every moment of shooting the movie. The Hollywood star is lately busy shooting for Money Monster directed by Jodie Foster.

The film is being shot in New York, where Clooney and wife Amal are put up. Two times Academy award winning star is actively involved in social work and has participated actively in several philanthropic causes. Clooney is involved with Not On Our Watch Projects, an organization that focuses global attention and resources to stop and prevent mass atrocities.
