While the confirmation from the star regarding a marriage in 2015 came just about a week ago in one of his interviews, rumors were all over the place for more than a week that he has already been engaged to a Delhi college going girl.
According to news report Shahid Kapoor is getting married to a Delhi based girl named Mira Rajput. She is a third year student of Delhi's most reputed college, Lady Shri Ram College. While the couple has not been spotted together on camera, the social media world is going gaga by posting pictures of Mrs. Would be Shahid Kapoor. Reports claim that Mira's family is quite upset with this sudden attention and the wedding news being flashed on almost all Indian news channels.
Apparently the love birds met through a religious group named "Radha Soami Satsang" which is followed by both their families. It looks like more or less of an arranged marriage since reports were abuzz about Shahid Kapoor's father and actor Pankaj Kapur paying a visit to Mira's family home in the suburbs of Chhatrapur a few days ago, even before the actual news broke.
Looks like Shahid Kapoor is currently enjoying the best of life, his last movie "Haider" an adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet received rave reviews from the critics and audiences alike and now he has also found the love of his life making it all a fairy tale.
Shahid is currently working on his next film titled "Shaandaar" where he is cast opposite Alia Bhatt for the first time, and is also working in a film titled "Udta Punjab" which also has Alia Bhatt opposite him along with his Ex-flame Kareena Kapoor.
